A new adventure.

My boys are not the only ones who will be going back to school. I have accepted a part time position at the preschool I subbed at last year. I will be working with 4 and 5 year olds three days a week. I am really excited! I have been wanting to find a part time job but couldn't find the perfect one that would allow me to pick the boys up from school and have the same vacation schedule as they do. I have hoped all summer the preschool would have an opening and they called me last week. I have been busy going to classes and today we have a teachers back to school lunch. The preschool is on the same grounds as my boys school so I will still be able to volunteer at the "big" school too. I really enjoy working with the kids. It is a win win situation all around!

Thought I would share a layout using Chatterbox product. I still had so much stuff left after I submitted my projects for the DT audition and I was wanting to use some more! That is a pic of my mom, dad, brother and me from 1974! My mom sent me some old pics from my childhood and I love this one! Would you look at my dad's clothes! I really loved using the Chatterbox Eclectique for this layout. It is the right amount of funky and that is what this pic needed!

We just announced at All Moments Remembered the guest designers for September. Yes, designers! We have two! Beth Johnson and Chris Hertle. Beth is know in blogland as the mini book Queen! Chris is the winner of AMR's guest designer challenge. Both gals are super talented and I can't wait to see what they come up with!

  3. Love that page! And so glad to have another scrapbooker around who can even been in a photo from 1974 (although I was 9 that year, and you look younger) as most of them weren't even born until the 1980 or later. Anyway, great page!

  10. I also have photos from 1974, but I'm afraid we we're quite as stylish as your family. Love the layout. I love scrapping those old gems.
And great news on your new adventure. I definately couldn't spend my days with preschoolers. I am always in awe of someone who can. Have fun!

  11. Jenn! The new job sounds fantastic! and of course, the best part is being off when your boys are off!! What does your husband, Eddie, do for work? I don't think you've ever mentioned it - but, of course, I'm a fairly new blog reader. Keep us posted on the new job and good luck, Cathy

  14. The layout is gorgeous! And congrats on the part-time job. Welcome to my world! I teach PreK-2, three times a week. I love the schedule because I get off right before my boys do. I take them to school AND pick them up. And we have the same holidays off...not to mention the Summers!
