I hope you and yours had a wonderful Easter yesterday! We had a very quiet low key day, just the four of us. You know what? It was nice. The boys loved their goodies the EB brought them. They each got a new baseball glove and lots of candy. Connor got a webkinz he was wanting and yes, Zachary got the Old Spice body wash and deodorant. I got to say, it doesn't smell half bad. He is definitely walking around with a lot more swagger! LOL!

Now, on to some cool news. I always start my morning checking in at Two Peas. Imagine my surprise when I see this! My jaw hit the ground from shock. Thanks so much Molly you really made my day! To say thank you, I put together a small RAK. Just leave me a comment by 9pm Tuesday and I will pick a winner Wednesday morning. I am in the process of getting it all together but so far there are lots of acrylic stamps, Scenic Route chipboard, a mini album, lots of trims, a cute acrylic tag album and some Prima goodness.

Spring Break!

Yeah! It is finally here! We are enjoying our break so far and I love not have to set an alarm clock and living with no schedule! The weather has been nice and the boys have been playing outside a ton. Cul-de-sac baseball is in full swing.

Wanted to share something so stinkin cute. We found this last night hanging on the fridge. He is totally serious too! He no longer believes in the EB and I guess Old Spice body wash is all the rage with 11 year old boys. I love how he even wrote down the specific scent.

Got a happy email last night! One of my layouts was picked up for the ST Holiday Idea Book. It has been awhile so I was excited.

We are having a very low key Easter. Just the four of us and one big a** ham! Hope the family likes leftovers.

Zachary had a great time at Mohican. And by the looks of his dirty laundry, I think the boy rolled in every mud puddle he could find. Among his favorites were seeing the snakes and going to survival camp. He also loved dorm life but could do without the stinky showers.

While it was weird (and quiet) with Zachary gone, it was a perfect time to give Connor some one on one time. We went to the movies, had friends come over to play, played games, and had a pizza night. He loved it and made him not miss his brother too much! LOL!

He's off!

Zachary left today for the annual 5th grade class trip to Mohican.

Mohican is an outdoor school where the kids get to learn about science and nature through a variety of of activities. They have some indoor classes but for the most part they are outside learning about trees, plant and animal life through hands-on activities. They also get to experience dorm life as they will be there until Friday.

He was very excited to go as you can see. I just hope we remembered to pack everything! Eddie and I went to school to help load the kids on the bus and say our goodbyes. Zachary loves the outdoors and animals so this experience is right up his alley. I can't wait to hear about all his adventures when he gets home.
