I know, I know...

its been a while. But I have been crazy busy. Preschool has ended but we are cleaning our rooms and getting things stored away for the summer. We have been to North Carolina twice in May. Once for my niece's first communion and again for my dad's 70th birthday. That is two 9 hour drives back and forth each way people! So I guess the reason for lack of blogging is I haven't been home and when i got home I was doing laundry. LOL!



Since it is the first of the month I wanted to post my June Kraft Girl kit layouts. This month's kit is chock full of fun, bright papers you will want to use over and over! Here is what i made.

The title on the above layout was made using the Slice. Thanks to my amazing BFF Nicole who let me use her machine. It was very easy to use and I can see why people are loving it!

Here is a shot of my dad blowing out his candles on his birthday cake. My mom really pulled off a great surprise as he did not know we were coming to his party. We arrived just after all the guests and we just walked outside to the deck where he was sitting and yelled "surprise"! He was shocked and then started to cry. My Uncle George (my dad's brother) and Aunt Donna surprised him the day before when they flew in from New Jersey. It was really great to visit with family. We laughed. A lot.

Busy week ahead. The boys last day of school is Wednesday and then we will be in full summer mode. Baseball season has started so we will be at the park twice a week. I will fill you in on Connor's first game in my next post. Have a great Monday!

5 Days

Yep, just 5 days left of preschool and then I am officially on summer break! Whoo Hoo! It's been a great year. We had our spring program Friday night for all the kids who are moving on to kindergarten next year. The kids have been practicing so hard for the past month and sounded great...until the actual performance. They kinda flopped but were just the cutest kids you ever did see!

Speaking of summer, here is a sneak peak of Kraft Girl's June kit. I am loving the Cosmo Cricket Snorkel and Basic Grey Lime Rickey! It is going to be perfect for all my summer photos! It goes on sale June 1st. I hope to be getting mine this week and should have some sneak peeks very soon!

First Communion

This past Sunday Connor received his First Communion. We had lots of family in town to be there for him on his special day. This is Connor with my parents. Don't my boys look so handsome?

We couldn't have asked for a better day. We had great food afterwards at our house (courtesy of Olive Garden, yum!) and the weather was simply gorgeous! Congrats Connor! We are so proud of you!

Happy May Day!

It's the first of the month and you know what that means! It is reveal day for the Kraft Girl May kit! Here is what I did with this months kit.

As you can see lots of fun stuff in this kit. I really liked using the Bazzill stitch template too! And the Maya Road stick pins are to die for!

Big weekend ahead for us. Connor receives his First Communion on Sunday and we have lots of family arriving from out of town. I will be sure to share some pics next week! Have a great weekend!
