Counting my blessings today!

As some of you may know, a we had a bad storm Tuesday night. Almost 70 mile an hour winds, rain, thunder, lightning, the works. We lost power at 1:15am which woke everyone up. Eddie happened to be looking out the window and saw our trampoline take flight over our fence, over the neighbor's fence and into his yard. In the morning, we heard a tornado was spotted just 5 minutes from our house! Just feeling very lucky that we are all safe and sound and this freaky weather did not cause too much damage to the area.( Have you ever heard of tornadoes in January in Cleveland? ) The trampoline can be replaced, loved ones cannot!

I have been trying to get my Christmas pictures scrapped. I always have a hard time with scrappin' big events such as birthdays and holidays. Maybe it's because of all the pics I take. I have come up with a great solution. Wallet sized pics! Yes, I know I said it in my last post but it bears repeating, I LOVE THEM! I will share more Christmas layouts later but wanted to leave you with this page about my boys helping with the Christmas baking. They did a great job and we had a lot of fun too!
Hopefully the weather had calmed down all over the country and we can resume winter!

So glad you are safe, I live in Colorado, but I grew up in Cleveland. That would be freaky weather there. I know the random thunder in snow season was kinda cool - but tornados = bad! Again, glad you are safe.

And... cute layout! Thanks for sharing! :)

Oh Jenn, i am so glad that you are all ok, how scary for you!!! That was just too close to home! I am the same when it comes to scrapping big events, I stall. I am still trying to get through last summer's vacation pics, and i have hit a wall again with Christmas day! Too many photos, but its not like that is going to change so I am just going to have to embrace it. Glad I am not the only one! Great Lo too!!

I want to do wallet sized photos too. I have some, and would love to be inspired to use them. So, wallet sized photos-- fantastic idea, girl! :-) Love your LO!!!

Hi, I jumped on your blog from 2peas, after reading, I HAD to comment. First of all, congratulatiions on surviving the storm. Secondly, I can totally relate to scrapbooking the big events, especially Christmas. I too do a lot of wallet sized photos and find that I can do a lot of really fun stuff with those. I also will buy the pages that fold out so I can fit 4 pages on a layout. Darleen
